Walkable in and right around Olde Town. Once you are a mile or so out, Arvada is mostly a drive-to-errands suburb.

What's walkable: Grandview Avenue and Olde Wadsworth Boulevard in the historic district, the G Line station, and the Ralston Creek Trail.

Transit

The G Line commuter train stops at Olde Town Arvada station, at the edge of the historic district, with service to Denver Union Station.

What it's like

A historic main street with a small-town feel, inside a larger suburban city. Olde Town has older brick storefronts and a regular calendar of public events. The homes near it range from older bungalows to newer townhomes.

What homes cost

Median sale price over the three months ending September 2026, as shown on Redfin in November 2026. Medians move every month and swing a lot where there are few sales.

Good fit if

People who want a walkable historic main street and a train to downtown, at a lower price than Golden or the Highlands.

Maybe not if

People who want city energy every night, or who want to walk to everything from anywhere in Arvada (only the core is walkable).
