Two of central Denver's best-known parks, side by side, with the Botanic Gardens between them. Cheesman Park is ringed by condo and apartment buildings. Congress Park is mostly older brick homes and bungalows on tree-lined streets.

What homes cost

Median sale price over the three months ending September 2026, as shown on Redfin in November 2026. Medians move every month and swing a lot where there are few sales.

Good fit if

People who want a walkable central neighborhood with big parks, and a choice between a condo near Cheesman or a house in Congress Park.

Maybe not if

People commuting to Golden or Boulder every day, or who want a large lot.
