Transit
No rail. CDOT's Bustang Outrider intercity bus stops in Buena Vista on its route to Denver Union Station; check ridebustang.com for current schedules.
What it's like
A small river town in the upper Arkansas Valley, under the Collegiate Peaks. Days revolve around the river, hiking and hot springs nearby. Homes range from older in-town houses to newer builds on larger lots outside town.
